Born as a baby, I spent my childhood in Seattle growing into a real, full-scale human being. During that process, I learned two very important things: how to talk and how to animate. The latter of those skills has always been my least filtered method of conveying of my ideas — the truest way to express my imagination whenever the former seems to fail me. Talking does take a close second though, as I love doing the voices and making the noises for the characters in my projects.
I now spend my time writing short videos and utilizing these fancy things we call computers to tell stories and share them with friends/fellow “interweb users”. I especially enjoy creating unique shaders, textures, and rendering-styles that help viewers feel immersed in the unique world of each story. So far, I’ve made two CG-animated short films, Crust Issues and FLOAT, as well as a number of short videos.
What I Do
I'm a Los Angeles -based 3D generalist with knowledge and experience in most of the VFX pipeline, from modeling to rigging to lighting. I’m especially passionate about utilizing color values to enhance the visual style of my projects, particularly in the realm of lighting. Whether through coursework or personal endeavors, I have cultivated a deep understanding and love for how lighting can dramatically transform a scene, guiding the viewer’s eye and telling a story that can’t be told through composition or blocking alone.
How I Do It
I have experience in a wide range of animation and VFX software including: Maya, Unreal Engine, Blender, After Effects, Nuke, and Photoshop.
